Pak America Victorious Over Seven Star And Take Title

The final between Seven Star and Pak America played at Whitestone Park on Sept 22nd 2013.

Pak America won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pak America made 142 runs for 9 off 20 overs thanks to some very poor fielding from Seven Star who dropped a total of 7 catches. Notable scorers for Pak America were Ali Zar who made 43 runs, which included 4 towering sixes. Azhar Ali chipped in with 28, Hanan and Amar made 15 each. Bowling for Seven Star, Vijay Seonarine took 3 wickets for 22 runs. Richie 3 for 40 and Krish took 2 wickets.

Seven Star in reply faced some precision bowling from Pak America. They lost the inform Mohsin Khan for only 10 runs in the 3rd over. With the required run rate kept creeping higher and higher, Pak America tightened the screws on Seven Star and no batsman made any big scores. Ali Zar played a cameo inning with both bat and ball, taking 3 wickets off his 4 overs.

After the match there was a presentation ceremony for both CCL 35 overs and T20 competitions.

Mohsin and Rudhir each received a bat, Richie and Junel each received a pair of gloves, all with the compliments of Mr. Lesly Lowe.

The T20 runner up Seven Star, received a Trophy and $500, compliments of Mr. Irfan Mohammed.

The T20 winner Pak America, received a Trophy, $1000 and each player got a medal, compliments of Mr. Irfan Mohammed.

Mohsin Khan scored the only century in the T20 tournament and was awarded $100, compliment of Mr. Raouff Khan.

Man of the Match in the T20 final was Mr. Ali Zar, who was awarded with a Trophy and bat from Irfan Mohammed and $100 from Raouff Khan.

Player of the Series in the T20 tournament was Mr. Ali Zar, who was awarded a Trophy and bat from Irfan Mohammed and $100 from Raouff Khan.
