Pak Warriors Defeat Mumbai Express To Take Div. B T20 Title

Pak Warriors hosted Mumbai Express in a very exciting game played on a blustery day in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

Batting first, Mumbai Express were restricted to only 114 runs and the main contributors were Ankit Desai 47 and Yash Shah 22. Ankit opened the innings and batted until almost the end. Yash’s innings was short but he played some blistering shots and was unfortunate to get run-out at a crucial time.

Atif Butt was the pick of the bowlers claiming 4 wickets for 21 ably supported by Atiq Butt who took 2 for 30.

In chasing, Pak Warriors lost 3 early wickets with Naeem Butt run-out for 1, Ahmed 5 and  Asif 5.
Hassan Raza 16, Atiq Butt 17 and Assad Rana 20 steadied the ship. But it was a late assault by Wasim Cheema 20 which included 2 mighty sixes that won the game for Pak Warriors.

Maulik Shah was the best bowler for Mumbai Express taking 2 for 22.
