On 9/15, 2nd Semi Final of the Brooklyn cricket league 40/40 championship. Middlesex CC vs Travel Treat CC at Marine Park C, Travel Treat won the toss and elected to bat first. The match was overshadowed by some questionable and devious umpiring decisions by Oscar Prince and umpire Bowen, both teams suffered greatly from the umpires poor and below par judgments. Scores, Travel Treat 190 all out from 33.2 overs, Abrara topped scored with a well crafted 76, good support came from youngster Jazib Tariq 26, Zarfar Iqbal a patient 23. Young off spinner Claymont Rose ripped the heart out of the Travel Treat middle and lower order to produced his career best bowling for Middlesex, he had figures of 7/1/35/7, the other successful bowler was Mark Audain, 5.2/0/16/2, the other wicket went via the run out route. Middlesex fell short by 8 runs of the targeted 190 runs, Quyyam Farrouq top scored with a well played 34, Mark Audain with a patient 25, Rod Michael (the finisher) was unbeaten on 21, Joseph Ledwridge a gritty 20 and Lester Benn 16 not out, final score, Middlesex 182/8 from 35 overs. Bowling for Travel Treat, Abrara 6.4/0/36/2, Zahib Tariq 7/0/43/2, Zafar Iqbal 7/0/19/1 and Imran Islam 6/1/31/1, Travel Treat winning by 8 runs.

On 9/16, the finals of the Brooklyn cricket league 40/40 championship, Travel Treat batting first, and was skittle out for 102 runs, Travel Treat lost their first wicket with the score on 72, when Captain Jerry Mirza was ran out for a patient 23, Janjeed topped scored with a well played 48. Left arm seamer Nousherwan Adil produced a match winning spell, which ripped the heart out of the Travel Treat middle order, his figures 5.2/0/12/5, leg spinner Mohammad Imran extracted bounce and turn from the track, had figures of 6/1/23/3, off spinner Bilal Adil 7/0/23/1. Panthers made easy work getting to their target of 103/2, Ulfat Shahzad topped scored with a blazing 54, Abdul Quyyum with an aggressive 31.

Panthers winning by 8 wickets to crown the Brooklyn Cricket League 40/40 Champions, this was their 2nd title of year, last Sunday Panthers won the Brooklyn Cricket League 35 overs Knockout Championship. Nousherwan Adil was awarded MVP; Salman Ahmad awarded best bowler, and Nousherwan Adil best batsman for the 35 overs knockout Championship. For the 40/40 Championship, Nousherwan Adil was awarded the MVP, Ulfat Shahzad as award best batsman, and Nousherwan Adil was awarded best bowler, all the silverware was captured by Panthers players.
This was Panthers 3rd championship title in 2 years.
