Following the tremendous success of last year’s event, organizers are building on that momentum with an expanded format and greater participation, creating one of the region’s premier youth cricket competitions.

In its inaugural season, SBYT successfully featured the Under-15 category, drawing strong interest from teams and supporters alike. The overwhelming response from players, coaches, and families has paved the way for significant growth this year. Season 2 will now include four competitive age divisions: Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17. This expansion reflects the tournament’s commitment to nurturing young talent at multiple developmental stages while providing a competitive and professionally organized platform.

The 2026 edition will feature 24 teams across the U11, U13, and U15 categories, along with an impressive 10 teams competing in the U17 division alone. With teams traveling from Virginia, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, and other East Coast communities, the tournament continues to strengthen its reputation as a regional hub for youth cricket excellence. The diversity of participating teams not only raises the level of competition but also fosters camaraderie and sportsmanship among young athletes from different cricketing backgrounds.

All matches will be played at the New Jersey Cricket Grounds, utilizing various fields to accommodate the expanded schedule and ensure a smooth tournament experience. The event will take place over two exciting segments: U15 and U11 matches will run from March 28 to March 31, 2026, followed by U17 and U13 competition from April 2 to April 5, 2026. This structured schedule allows each age group to enjoy its own spotlight while maintaining a festival-like atmosphere throughout the spring break period.
