Seven Stars To Clash With Melbourne In Premier Finals

The stage is set for the Commonwealth Cricket League Premier Division finals. Seven Stars Cricket Club will host Melbourne Cricket Club at the very scenic Whitestone Ferry Point Park on Sunday August 26th, 2012. Game time is scheduled for 12 noon.
The Premier Division playoffs began three weeks ago with eight teams. It was delayed one week due to the observance of Eid.
Elite teams such as Galaxy with talented players in the mole of Sudesh Dhaniram and Ryan Ghirdharry and United Sports with the likes of USA national captain Steve Messiah and Richie Seuchand were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
Seven Stars defeated the talent rich Strikers Cricket Club and Nationals and Melbourne defeated Galaxy and Pak America in the quarter finals and semi finals respectively to reach the finals.
