Asia Tribune Tourney
Cricketers around the New York Metropolitan area gets a head start of the season with an invitational tournament sponsored by Asia Tribune. The tournament is schedule to start on April 6 and will be held in Brooklyn.
The tournament committee headed by the chairman Mr Arif Afzal Usmani the owner of the Asia Tribune newspaper and comprising of Mohiuddin Khawaj, Mohamad Hussain, Babar Riaz and umpire Steve Kallo who are very optimistic that the annual event will be competitive since most of the team comprises of talented youths.
Winning team will get prize money of four thousand dollars, runner up fifteen hundred dollars and there will be a man of the match award for each game.
The draw was held last Sunday at Kashmir Grill in Brooklyn.
