T Bros Superstar Stop Volcano

It drizzles most of the afternoon but this didn’t stop or it helps T Bros Superstar to cool down the Volcano. The games started on time and this gave T Bros Superstar enough time to complete a very exciting game and claiming the 30 Over Cup division IIB championships.

Volcano won the toss and chooses to bat and Superstars bowlers did not allow them to get comfortable at the crease. The highest score by a Volcano batsman was 13 runs which show exactly how aggressive and motivated Superstars’ bowlers were. At the end of the 15th over Volcano were reeling on 74 for 8 wickets, and ended up scoring a total of 91 runs.

T Bros Superstars a young team with many talented players and who scored well over two hundred and twenty five runs in the semi finals against Falcons was looking to end the game early so that they would able to celebrate with their very large support base that was present. But Volcano did have a plan of they own and would defend to the end.

T Bros Superstars lost two early wickets; however all hope was not lost for the team. Captain Sunil Tallan came to the crease and stabilized the inning with his 38 runs not out. Other good score came from M. Persaud who cracked a quick 17 runs before being caught. Elvis who was award the man of the match prize for his 15 runs not out and he also dominated the bowling by taking 4 wickets for 17 runs and made 2 superb run outs. T Bros will now move up in division where they will find the competition a little stiffer.

It was a nice game between these two teams, both teams with a huge fan base and supporters who came out and set up the tents and all the food and goodies, especially the grilling so everything was kept warn. It was nice to meet the two brothers from the T Bros organization who is sponsoring the team and all the other folks from West Demerara and Mahica. Kudos to you guys keep the fun alive, we welcome your support and keep on cricketing.
