Warm Up Game Against Big Apple
In bright sunshine at Riis Park Big Apple the EACA 2011 T/20 champion took on the 40 overs champion Meten-Meer-Zorg CC in a warm up game on last Sunday.

Batting first Big Apple post a huge total of 203 all out off 32 overs with Shiv Raghubar scoring a blistering 55 retired out. Rett Ramotar 28 and N. Balram 22 was the other main contributor.
Bowling for MMZ, USA player Andy Mohammed bowling left arm spin did some early damage picking up 3 for 26 in 7 overs.
Meten –Meer-Zorg opened the batting with Andy Mohammed and the new comer Saud Hussain. Saud was first to go caught at backward square off the pacer Telston Johnson.
Amarnauth Persuad came in and was out without troubling the score, caught behind off Johnson. Mohammed played some attacking shots and eventually was caught of Johnson. Zaeed Majeed and Travis Ross put on 25 runs before Majeed played on to Sean Thompson, with the score at 65 for 4 in 10 overs.
Captain Ajaz Asgarally joined Trevis Ross and the pair batted solidly. Ross was eventually out for a well played 89. Asgarally 56 not out saw his team home with 2 overs to spare.
