USA Cricket Academy Appoints Coaches And Administrators

Monali Patel Named Director of Coaching

Canadian Cricket player Monali Patel has been appointed as girls Director of Development and Coaching for Youth and Women at the USA Cricket Academy, which is primarily focused in developing youth cricket programs for the Under-17 and Under-19 players to compete at higher levels, like National and International competitions. She is member of Cricket Canada team since 2008 and also reputed and highly qualified level 3 Cricket Australia & West Indies Level 2 coach with many other credentials in North America. She is only active high profile & young women cricket coach for USA & Canada.

Los Angeles based Michael Voss (from South Africa) has been appointed as a Tour Director and Coach for the Academy to expand USA Cricket Academy’s cricket programs with South Africa and other international affiliations. Besides playing first class cricket for South Africa, he is level 1 cricket coach and has done extensive youth cricket development work in Los Angeles area and previously in South Africa and England.

Delkash Shahriarian of New York has been appointed as Girls Manager for the USA Cricket Academy new program which will be launched during this winter. She is USA team wicketkeeper and level -1 coach.

Both Monali Patel and Michael Voss are qualified cricket coaches and will work together with Jatin Patel, Global Operations Manager to develop programs for academy with expansion in North America as well international possibilities in terms of tours and coaching/playing exchange tours for our players and coaches.

USA Cricket Academy president Ashok Patel, Global Operation Manager Rahul Sharma and Global Development Manager Jatin Patel announced the appointment of the coaches and administrative officers in the joint press release here.

Addition of more coaches and staff to the academy means “we are ready to provide best services to USA youth cricketing needs with more expansion is in pipe line.”

An eighteen day long tour for the U17 and U19 youth teams to India is in final preparation with team and Academy staff schedule to depart on Dec 18th. 2014. With the addition of more qualified cricket coaches in USA Cricket Academy Administration, we are planning more International tours in future like Tour to West Indies is next in March and later we are in process to schedule more tours to provide best opportunities for the potential top level youth cricket talent we have in USA.

“We are also very excited to add three more coaches from Indiana to oversee our academy expansion in Indiana. Ajay Lakhe – Fort Wayne, Jitesh Bhate – Fisher and Indianapolis Metro and Bharat Chormale – Warshow – North central Indiana,” said the joint statement. All coaches will work with other academy coaches to develop and launch after school and community programs in Indiana. As a part of academy, Indiana youths will have same benefits as many others with USA cricket academy and dedicated support as needed.
