LAKE WORTH, FLORIDA: USACA announces the creation of an official ICC Liaison Committee to work with the ICC around ongoing issues around further development of the sport in the US in terms of funding, governance and youth development strategy and ideas.
Members of the committee, to be chaired by Dr. Vincent Adams, a senior US government official, include Emmanuel Nanthan, Vice President of the West Indies Cricket Board, Robin Singh, current IPL, CPL and USACA coach and ex-Indian national player, and include key regional leadership from USACA League Presidents Sunil Kumar, Shoaib Ahmed, Syed Shahanawaz.
Dr. Vincent Adams noted that, “this group is just part of an enhanced commitment to work with the Associate member leadership inside the ICC to make the US market increasingly attractive and more stable going forward.”
The committee’s first meeting is on the evening of March 25th where a detailed time line will be defined for working with representatives from the ICC. Further details of the meeting and key action items will be released.
