Dear League Members and Friends,
Attorney Robert Chance has just delivered his compliance audit findings to USACA (see chart below) which show the results of his audit work. Please study them carefully.
The results are a little later than planned, however, national elections are still scheduled on March 17th 2012, and the revised process timetable is as follows:
1. If any league disputes the audit results, it must submit a letter explaining its reasons with appropriate documentation to the Board (can be emailed to [email protected] and [email protected]), and/or provide any missing items to Mr. Chance (Phone (512) 222-4036, Fax 800-948-0216, email [email protected]) by 8pm eastern time Friday, February 17, 2012.
2. By February 20, 2012, the Board will determine which leagues are in good standing and therefore eligible to vote and will inform all of you of the Board’s determination. Under the Constitution the Board’s determination is final and binding.
3. USACA Regions can hold their Regional Elections after the Board’s final decision on which leagues are in good standing – post February 20, 2012.
4. USACA will hold a Special General Meeting on March 17, 2012 to elect board members and conduct such other business as is appropriate for such a meeting. As required by the Constitution, we will send a formal notice of this meeting, including information about nominations and proxies separately.
Attorney Chance will be shortly sending out a comprehensive report to each league detailing his findings for that league.
