Freedom Flyers won the inaugural tournament earlier this year.
GROVELAND, Fla. — The American Women’s Cricket Support Group (AWCSG) announces the second edition of its Women’s Premier T25 Cricket Tournament, taking place October 9–12, 2026, at the Orlando Cricket Ground in Groveland, Florida. Two matches will be played each day, culminating in the finals on Monday, October 12.
Building on the inaugural tournament held in April this year, the second edition expands the competition from three teams to four: American Titans, Freedom Flyers, Patriots, and Liberty. Each team will carry a roster of 13 players, with the tournament format allowing eleven players to bowl and twelve to bat.
The 52 players, aged 15 to 35, were selected in an August draft from a pool of more than 60 cricketers resident in the United States. The pool included current USA under-19 and senior women’s national team players, alongside players drawn from the USA tier system.
Each team has been assigned a head coach. The USA under-19 and senior women’s national team players have been distributed among the four teams, with the skill sets of all 52 drafted players considered to form balanced, competitive squads.
“The matches involving players between the ages of 15 and 35 will be live-streamed, involving six cameras and a broadcast commentary crew,” said Suresh Vallabhaneni, an AWCSG committee member, adding, “We have increased the number of overs from the traditional 20 to 25, to allow greater participation by the players.”
The four-day tournament will bring established national team talent and emerging domestic players together, showcasing the depth of women’s cricket talent in the United States and giving players an additional opportunity to compete and develop.
