Historic Cricket Event For Florida
Get ready to bring your family and friends to witness 25 West Indies Cricket Legends from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s at an exhibition game to be held on January 25, 2015, at The Central Broward Regional Park in Ft. Lauderdale , Florida.

In this the event’s first year, expectations are high to see which eleven from the twenty five Legends will actually suit up and take the field against the Cavaliers Eleven, a team that was handpicked  and created just for this exhibition game. Cricket fans are really in for a treat and have an opportunity to be in the presence of some of the greatest West Indies legends to ever play the game, like Brian Lara, Clive Lloyd, Courtney Walsh, Lawrence Rowe, Gordon Greenidge, Alvin Kallicharran , Gus Logie and many more.

There will also be a Banquet (Dinner) on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at South Florida Conference Center, 6101 NW 31 Street, Margate, Florida. This banquet is designed for the fans and lovers of the game to have a ‘meet and greet’ along with photo opportunities with the legends who not so long ago, that dominated International cricket for almost two decades.

“Cricket fans and lovers of this illustrious game, I encourage you to mark your calendars for this eventful weekend on January 24-25, 2015,” Lawrence Rowe.

On game day, there will be something for everyone including  the Kids Zone which starts an hour before the game. This zone is designed to have children experience the feel of a bat in hand, surrounded by a secure batting cage, having fun and learning the fundamentals of the game from some of the very best to ever play the sport.

Also, there will be a section on the mound where fans can bring a cooler and create a family  environment  to witness the game. In addition, there will be an all-inclusive party stand and V.I.P. sections, also a V.V.I.P. area that will accommodate all legendary non-players and dignitaries for an up close and personal effect.

The organizers, Lawrence “Yagga” Rowe of The Lawrence Rowe Legendary Cricket Foundation and Pooran  Ramnanan of A-Class Events, have agreed to donate parts proceeds from the event to the children of the LRLC Foundation as well as to assist Patrick Patterson a former West Indies fast bowler. In addition creating an opportunity for patrons who truly love the sport of cricket, to be a part of history.

“We are hoping that the community will come out in large numbers to show love and support  to your legends who made us proud to be a West Indian cricket fan over the years”, noted Dex Donaldson, VP of Operations.

Children under 10 years of age, in the company of a parent/guardian with tickets to the Mound and/or Grandstand, will be admitted free.
