The American Cricket Federation (ACF) is celebrating 12 years of cricket coaching education excellence, marking more than a decade of grassroots development and scholastic outreach across the United States.

Led by Jatin Patel — a respected multi-sport coach, Cricket Hall of Famer, and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient — the ACF Cricket Coaching Program has become a major force in introducing cricket to American schools and communities.

The federation launched its Level 1 Scholastic Program in 2014 to teach the basics of cricket through physical education programs, using coaching methods tailored to American educators. A year later, ACF introduced its Level 2 Advanced Program, which trains certified coaches to mentor local coaches and volunteers nationwide.

As of May 2026, more than 500 Level 2 coaches have been certified in the United States, helping expand grassroots cricket development across the country.

ACF has also conducted 92 weekend coaching clinics in collaboration with cricket legends and universities, training educators and future physical education teachers while promoting cricket within the U.S. educational system.

The organization recently introduced its Level 3 GOLD certification, a high-performance coaching program featuring sports analytics, video analysis, mindfulness training, and AI-driven coaching concepts.

Approved by the American Cricket Education Council (ACEC) and endorsed by the Cricket Hall of Fame, ACF continues to strengthen cricket’s presence in the American sports landscape.

Looking ahead, the federation plans to launch 28 mini virtual courses for schools and colleges beginning in the Fall 2026 semester as part of its continued commitment to cricket education and coach development.
