Chasing a modest target of 94 runs for victory, the Somerset Cavaliers encountered a challenging bowling display from the New England Eagles. They were eventually bowled out for 90 runs in 17.5 overs, falling just short by 3 runs. Hemendra Ramdihal was the hero for the Eagles, taking 5 crucial wickets for just 10 runs. Karima Gore was the top scorer for the Cavaliers, contributing 28 runs, while while Apurva Maheshram’s impressive bowling figures of 4 wickets for 18 runs proved decisive for the Eagles.

In a closely contested match, the New England Eagles secured a narrow victory, winning by just 3 runs. Their ability to defend a modest total was bolstered by the exceptional performances from Apurva Maheshram, who was named the Man of the Match for his all-around contribution to the team’s success.
