New York – Under the leadership of FOKANA NY Metro Region, the Charity Cricket Bash 2025 was held on Saturday, June 21, starting at 7:30 AM at Cunningham Park. New York Phoenix Cricket Club emerged as champions, with Philly Machanz finishing as runners-up. Over 500 people gathered at the ground from different parts of the region to witness the exciting final and take part in the grand finale celebrations.
Gopi Krishnan from Phoenix NY was awarded Man of the Match and Best Batsman, while Sanosh Samuel Sunny from Philly Machanz was named Best Bowler of the tournament.

All proceeds from team registrations were donated to Heeram Charitable Trust (Center for the Differently Abled) in Kottayam, Kerala, and the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island in the U.S.
The winning team, Phoenix NY, received a trophy and a $1,000 cash prize sponsored by Kuttanadan Restaurant. The runners-up, Philly Machanz, were awarded a trophy and a $500 cash prize sponsored by Raj Auto Center. The trophies were sponsored by Daisy’s Trophy World (Thomas Palathra and Thomas).
The event was managed by Eventgram (Jojo Kottarakara), and the grand sponsor was Index Wealth Solutions Inc. (Thomas T. Zacharia).

Tournament Coordinator Jins Joseph thanked all the teams who participated, the sponsors for their generous support, and everyone who helped with the tournament. He also extended his appreciation to the Kerala Cricket League USA (KCL USA) for their valuable support and encouragement throughout the event.
FOKANA NY Metro Regional Secretary Don Thomas and Mathew Thomas noted that the tournament was a grand success, highlighting the strong turnout and community spirit displayed throughout the day.
FOKANA President Dr. Sajimon Anthony, Secretary Sreekumar Unnithan, Treasurer Joy Chakkappan, FOKANA Regional Vice President Lagi Thomas, CCL President Ajith Bhaskar, and Cricket Coach PV Shashikanth were present at the award ceremony to hand out the trophies and personally congratulate the winners.
