However, Ms. Power will be the first woman so honored by the 46 year-old New York based club.

Atlantis President Steve Welcome, said “We are honored that Ms. Power has accepted our invitation to become an honorary member of Atlantis, but more than anything else, we firmly believe that she is deserving of this and many other accolades for her contributions to women’s cricket in the Caribbean and the USA.”

Ms. Power, a Certified Level II Cricket Coach and Secondary School teacher, has played an integral role in US cricket development over the past three years, conducting coaching clinics in the New York metropolitan area for women cricketers and coaching sessions across the USA for cricket coaches seeking their Level I certification.
