The newly appointed Jamaican Ambassador to the United States, Ralph Thomas, who recently paid a four-day official visit to Hartford, made the Cricket Hall of Fame one of his stops in the city.

After having a sumptuous breakfast with members of the Hall at the Jamaican restaurant downstairs, Ambassador Thomas was taken on a tour of the facility in which he did not only expressed his surprise for what he saw but congratulated the members for the wonderful work that they are doing. He commented that he was very impressed with the displays that he saw there, pledged his support for the institution and said that he will be happy to assist in whatever he can to help the Hall move forward.

During the tour, Michael Chambers thanked Ambassador Thomas for making the visit, presented him with a certificate of appreciation and a souvenir bat that was signed by the Hall of Fame’s members.
