Chasing 267 for victory, the USA had a steady start with Smit Patel scoring 44 and Saiteja Mukkamalla contributing 46. However, regular wickets pegged back the hosts. It was Milind Kumar again who stepped up with the bat, scoring a quick 68 off 65 balls to keep the chase alive. Lower-order contributions from Harmeet Singh (25 off 14) and Jasdeep Singh (27 not out) brought the USA close, but they ultimately finished on 266 for 9, tying the match.

Oman’s bowling was a collective effort, with Samay Shrivastava standing out, taking 3 wickets for 68 runs. Shakeel Ahmed and Aamir Kaleem also chipped in with two wickets each.

With the match tied, the contest went into a Super Over. The United States batted first and managed 13 runs without losing a wicket, with Andries Gous smashing a six and scoring 11 off just 4 balls. Oman responded with confidence. Captain Jatinder Singh once again rose to the occasion, hitting 13 runs off 4 balls, including a boundary and a six, securing victory with just one ball to spare.
