On 8/11 at Marine Park, Middlesex CC vs Sheffield CC, Sheffield CC won the toss and elected to take first strike. Openers, Glen Hall and G. Scott give Sheffield a solid start, the pair putting on 45 for the first wicket. Glenn Hall was the first to go, comprehensive beaten by an Adam Sanford outswing, which pitched outside the leg stump, and took Hall’s leg stump, he went for 21. G. Scott batted well, but on 33, he got a beauty from Sanford, to be brilliantly caught by wicket keeper Jacob Emmanuel. USA player Akeem Dodson batted responsible for a well played 24, he was out caught at short mid wicket from a lifting delivery. Adam Sanford also accounted for the wickets of Delon Muffet; LBW to a quick delivery for a duck, T. Wittick was bowled by a quick delivery, his off and middle stump cart wheeling for a duck, and former Guyana youth player, Denroy George caught off another lifting delivery for a duck. Skipper Andre Kirton mopped up the tail, clean bowling Ahmad Dodson, S. Whaaqu and Zine Massed all for ducks.

Final bowling figures, Adam Sanford 6/0/33/6, and Andre Kirton 7/0/15/3, Sheffield final score was 98 all out from 20 overs. When Middlesex batted, they were skittle out for a meager 80, opener Mark Audain was the first to go for 8, caught, trying to hook the hostile young fast bowler, Ahmad Dodson, the aggressive Abdullah Syed was the next to go, bowled by a quick delivery, that send the off and mid stump for a walk from Ahmad Dodson for 4. It was a procession created by Denroy George, he send back Quyyam Farroque, Jacob Emmanuel, and Hugo D’Olivera for 0, 10, and 0 respectively. G. Scott put the final nail in Middlesex coffin, getting inform skipper Andre Kirton for 11 and Lester Benn for 00. The only other batsman to get into double figures was Treldon McMillan for a fighting 11, caught and bowled by left arm spinner Mukesh Patel. Final bowling figures, Denroy George 5/2/23/3, Ahmad Dodson 4/0/18/2, and G. Scott 5/1/11/2. Scores, Sheffield CC 98 all out, Middlesex 80 all out.

On 8/11 at Seaview, Queensbury vs Diplomats, Queensbury 190/6, Tendon Reggis 64, Charles Lee 48, Marcelin Stanford 23, bowling for Diplomats, R. Madtinoto 2/27, A. Panthers vs Wanderers
On 8/11, Panthers vs Wanderers at Marine Park A, Panthers 215/3 from 30 overs, Salman Ahmad hit a classy 75 not out, Nazim Hussain a polished 60, and Shahbaz Najam, a well played 40 not out. Bowling for Wanderers, Leon Hyde 6/0/18/2 was the most successful bowler. Wanderers 156 all out, Rawl Jackman was the only batsman to offer any resistance to the Panthers bowling, he made a well played 42. Panthers winning by 59 runs, finishing at the top of the table in the Brooklyn cricket league 40 overs competition. The top 4 teams in order are as follows, Panthers, Travel Treat, Middlesex CC and Sheffield CC, which will participate in the semi finals on 9/8/12.

Middlesex CC vs Sheffield
On 8/12 at Seaview Ave and 108th Street, Middlesex claim the toss and elected to bat, this was Sheffield home game. Middlesex openers Treldon McMillan and Jacob Emmanuel started the innings, Jacob Emmanuel was the first to go, clean bowled by Denroy George for 2, Mark Audain joined Treldon McMillan and they tried to consolidate the inning, until the score was on 32, Treldon McMillan was strangled, caught down the leg side from a Delon Muffet delivery, he made 10. Joseph Ledwridge, joined Mark Audain and the pair batted responsible, mixing defense with aggression. Sheffield bowlers, Ahmad Dodson, Delon Muffet and Denroy George, bowled well in pairs, bowling an immaculate line and length, checking the scoring of the Middlesex batsmen. Mark Audain was next to go when the score was on 128, he made a typical stylish 43 (6 x 4), Rod Michael joined Joseph Ledwridge and the pair took the score to 179/3 at end of the allotted 33 overs. Joseph Ledwridge, the stylish left handed Jamaican, played some classic strokes to all parts of the field, he finish on a well played 70 not out, (4×4, 2x 6), Rod Michael (the finisher) batted well for a responsible 20 not out (3 x 4). Bowling for Sheffield, Delon Muffet 8/0/44/2, and Denroy George 8/0/41/1 was the successful bowlers for Sheffield.

Mark Audain had a career best 8 for 27 against Sheffield.

Sheffield started their inning with the prolific Glen Hall and the stroke maker Akeem Dodson, the pair batted sensible seeing off the hostile former USA under 19 pacer, Dominic Audain and former West Indies pacer Adam Sanford. Both batsmen mixing caution with aggression, Dodson was severe on Dominic Audain, hitting him twice over extra cover for 6 runs, Glen Hall was playing the sheet anchor roll accumulating the one’s and two’s, on two occasions he was playing late to the hostile Dominic Audain, popping the ball up in no mans land. Glen Hall was the first to go when the score was on 82, LBW to fast medium bowler Kavir Singh for well played 30. Skipper Andre Kirton introduce fast medium bowler Mark Audain into the attack, and that’s when Sheffield was immediately on their back foot, Mark Audain picked up 3 wickets in his first over, Delon Muffet was trapped in front, LBW for 4, S. Khawaja was LBW for 0, he played around a straight delivery, P. Persaud was LBW for 0, he played over a yorker. The next to go was the big fish, USA batsman, Akeem Dodson, playing back to a well pitched up inswinger, hitting him just below the knee roll, he went for a brilliant, classy 58 ( 4 x 4, 2 x 6), A. Malik was bowled, the off stump knocked out of the ground,  K. Stewart was the next to go, clean bowled, the middle stump went for a walk 12, Mukesh Patel was trapped LBW to Mark Audain for 3, Ahmad Dodson hit a couple lusty blows, hitting Mark Audain for a big 6 over long on, and a 4, he was next to go trying to drive Mark Audain over deep long off, was brilliantly caught by youngster Jevon Nester for 14, Denroy George was the last to go LBW to skipper Andre Kirton for 02, Sheffield all out for 149. It was a career best bowling figures for the Brooklyn cricket league veteran, former St. Vincent and Windward Islands youth player, Mark Audain, he finished with figures, 7 overs, 1 maiden, 27 runs, 8 wickets, Kavir Singh 2 overs, 19 runs, and the prize wicket of Glen Hall, Andre Kirton 5.2 overs, 1 maiden, 20 runs, 1 wicket.

Wanderers vs Cavaliers
On 8/12, Wanderers vs Cavaliers, Cavaliers was skittle out for a poultry 83, bowling for Wanderers, fast medium seamer Leon Hyde picked his career best  7/2/32/5, good support came from fast medium seamer St. Lucian Winston Celestine 7/1/12/3, George Sutherland 3/0/10/2. Wanderers 84/6 from 16 overs, George Sutherland a lusty 49 which include 6 towering 6s, Wanderers creating history again, beating the top club in Brooklyn cricket league by 4 wickets.

Travel Treat vs Diplomats
8/12, Travel Treat vs Diplomats, Travel Treat 239 all out from 35 allotted overs, Skipper Jerry Mirza and Jhanzain Tariq added 87 runs for the 1st wicket, first to go was Jhanzain Tariq for a well played 41, Skipper Jerry Mirza was the next to go for a stylish 43, the hard hitting Zafar Iqbal a lusty 41, Zabey Tariq a well played 47 not out and Boom Boom Moshin Bhatti 37, which include 4 magnificent 6s, Asim Raja a business like 31. Bowling for Diplomats, Keith Eddie 7/0/39/2, Selwyn Smith 3/0/29/2, Kevin Charles 7/0/37/1 and Selwyn Rampaul 7/0/41/1. Diplomats 124 all out, Selwyn Smith with a typical classy 71, veteran Selwyn Rampaul with a well played 29, bowling for Travel Treat, veteran off spinner Rana Mohamad Hussain,  produced an inspired spell 7/0/25/3, Zafar Iqbal 7/0/23/2, Imran Aslam 5/0/19/2, Zain Tariq and Hamza 1 wicket each respectively. Travel Treat is once again into the Semi Finals, after a four year interval, they are once again, trying to regain the Brooklyn cricket league Title.
