Criclanes Sports Academy (Indoor) of New Jersey recently hosted cricket legend Dr. Shivnarine Chanderpaul, former West Indies captain and recently appointed West Indies Under-19 batting consultant along with Jatin Patel, renown multi-sport coach, mentor and professional sport performance analyst for Cricket, Soccer and a Cricket Hall of Famer.

Patel, with over three decades of experience with many administrative roles in Cricket and Soccer is considered an “aficionado” in USA Cricket, who also pioneered cricket scholastic programs for schools in the USA and coaching programs for coaches at all levels since 2014.

Mr. Patel conducted a two-day long American Cricket Federation (ACF) Level 1 and 2 coaches’ clinic for 15 cricket enthusiasts, aspiring to become cricket coaches in the future. He shared practical and modern methods for coaching players in a T20 dominant era, and who is also a mentor for many cricket coaches globally for all levels since 2014.

CricLanes owners and management had the honor and privilege to host legend Shivnarine Chanderpaul, as he was invited as Chief Guest for the United States Carrom Association’s Silver Jubilee event in New Jersey.

“Great pride to be with the legend and cricket expert coach, as approximately 35 kids, boys and girls, had the opportunity to display their cricketing skills and get real-time coaching advice from Mr. Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Coach Patel. I am happy that Mr. Shivnarine Chanderpaul shared his coaching tips and philosophy with Criclanes Coach, Vishal Patel, and gave advice to each player who attended the camp on where to improve their game,” said Hiren Patel of CricLanes Partner.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul cricket academy, which was launched in 2020 for elite coaches and potential talented players in USA. Shivnarine and Jatin both worked together and organized the second largest camp for the year. During last summer after COVID-19 lockdown, they facilitate a large camp for Dallas Youth Cricket League in Texas.
