Queens, NY — Atlantis Cricket Club–New York (ACC) marked a historic milestone with its 60th Anniversary Annual General Meeting recently, electing a new Executive Board for the 2026–2028 administrative cycle.

Leading the club into its Jubilee year is Telston Johnson, a dynamic all-rounder who joined ACC within the past five years. His election to the presidency of ACC signals a notable change of the guard for the club, which is proudly known for its excellence on the field and its community service and humanitarian initiatives off the field. The club’s community efforts are embodied in its motto – Atlantis…more than just cricket!

Reflecting on his appointment, Johnson stated, “It is truly an honor to be entrusted with leading Atlantis Cricket Club at such a historic moment. ACC has a proud legacy, and I am committed to building on that foundation by fostering unity, developing our players, and ensuring the club continues to thrive both on and off the field.”

Johnson’s unopposed elevation to President headlines a broader shift within the Executive, reflecting a strong blend of active players and experienced administrators contributing both on the field and in leadership roles. Club captain Randall Wilson, elected for his third term as on-field leader, will also serve as Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. Allrounder Kellon Carmichael assumes the role of Club Secretary, while pace bowler Greg Robinson has been elected as the club’s new Vice President.

The Executive Board retains valuable institutional experience, with Dr. Glendon Archer, Phillip Thompson, and John Aaron continuing their service as Trustee, Manager, and Executive Vice President, respectively.

This balanced composition of leadership positions ACC strongly as it celebrates 60 years of cricketing excellence in the New York area, reinforcing its commitment to both tradition and progressive development.
ACC will continue its 60th season by competing for the third year in the New York National Cricket League’s Premier Sunday Division, maintaining its longstanding presence at the highest level of local cricket.
