Raj Nannan and Chiranshu Bhatia chipped in with valuable contributions, taking the team to a total of 142/9 in their allotted 20 overs.

The Philadelphians’ innings was well supported by their bowlers, with Christopher Barnwell leading the charge by taking three crucial wickets. Apurva Maheshram, Burhan Saeed, and Gourav Grover also made vital contributions, ensuring The Philadelphians posted a competitive total.

Chasing a target of 143, the New England Eagles faced an early setback as Sushant Modani and Apurva Maheshram were dismissed cheaply by Deveshwari Prashad and Sivaram Swarna, respectively. However, Jaladh Dua and Christopher Barnwell steadied the ship with a 43-run partnership, offering hope to their team.

But The Philadelphians’ bowlers, led by the relentless Deveshwari Prashad and Soripul Islam, kept applying pressure. Prashad was the star with the ball, taking four crucial wickets for his team. Hemendra Ramdihal and Soripul Islam also made significant contributions, restricting New England Eagles.

Despite some resistance from Hemendra Ramdihal and a few late boundaries, New England Eagles fell short of the target, bowled out for 123 in 18.4 overs.
