PSAL Cricketers To Compete In Mayor’s Cup Cricket All-Star Games

On June 23, approximately 60 girls and boys from the New York City Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) will compete in the second annual NYC Mayor’s Cup Cricket All-Star Games.

The top high school student cricket players from across the City will play in Saturday’s games, with the winner to be named the “Best in the City.” The Championship Game will take place on Saturday, June 23, at 4pm, at Spring Creek Park Cricket Field, 355 Gateway Drive, Brooklyn.
The NYC Mayor’s Cup series, which encompasses a variety of sports events throughout the year, is produced by NYC & Company, the City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization. For the 2012 NYC Mayor’s Cup Cricket All-Star Games, the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA) has donated jerseys to all of the participating athletes and coaches.
