ICC U19 Pepsi Americas Tournament
Scorecard
It was all over by lunchtime on day two of the U19 Pepsi Americas Tournament. Skipper Steven Taylor (USA) won the toss and invited Bermuda to bat on a wicket which produced over 300 runs the previous day. None of the Bermudian batsmen displayed a desire to stay at the crease.

With the score on just 14 the first wicket fell and then tumbled steadily with only one batsman (K. Leverock) reaching double figures (11). They were all out for a paltry 55 in just over 30 overs. For the USA Roshan Varadarajan and Arsh Buch claimed three wickets each and all five bowlers used by the USA claimed at least one wicket.

The USA with the eye on the net run rate blasted away at the target reaching their goal in just 9.4 for the loss of two wickets. Captain Steven Taylor led the way with 32 not out.

The USA must now hope that Bermuda can rebound and beat Canada tomorrow and that their net run rate would guide them through to the championship.

Bermuda must show tremendous improvement against Canada if they have any hope against the very strong home side.

Steven Taylor was awarded Man of the Match for his well played 32 not out.
