The USA U19 Men’s cricket team has qualified for the 2026 ICC U19 World Cup, to be hosted in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Team USA booked their place by emerging as undefeated champions in the ICC Americas Qualifier, held at the Param Veers Sports Complex in Rydal, Georgia, from August 9–16, 2025. The round-robin event featured Canada, Argentina, and Bermuda, with the USA defeating all three opponents twice to claim the top spot.

Cricket’s momentum in the United States continues to grow, boosted by the senior team’s historic win over Pakistan in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and the sport’s upcoming inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Expanding youth programs, training academies, and grassroots initiatives are further fueling interest and development.

The USA U19s have previously featured at the ICC U19 World Cup, making their debut in 2006 in Sri Lanka and returning in 2010. Their latest qualification underlines the steady progress of the program.

The 2026 ICC U19 World Cup will feature 16 teams. Ten qualified automatically based on their performance in 2024—Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies—while co-host Zimbabwe earned automatic entry.

Five teams advanced through regional qualifiers: Afghanistan (Asia), Tanzania (Africa), Japan (East Asia-Pacific), Scotland (Europe), and the USA (Americas). The expanded lineup reflects cricket’s growing global footprint and the rising strength of emerging nations.
