USACricketers.com Energizes US Cricket With A Facelift
By USACricketers.com Staff
Today, USACricketers.com is pleased to unveil its new web site look, originally hosted under newyorkcricket.com. We made the massive change to reflect what we were doing on newyorkcricket.com, but now under a domain name that reflects and covers all of USA cricket, and beyond. Our previous domain name hardly reflected our national coverage, so we made the big change.
Changing the domain name and expanding our coverage was a simple task, because of reports, stories and contributions from many across the United States.
We have some of the USA’s most eloquent cricket contributors and writers, and no one takes you closer to the USA cricket scene than them. We encourage our contributors to continue to help cricket move forward, and as always we welcome new contributors and suggestions.
From our analytics we determined that our local coverage and stories were overwhelmingly in demand, meaning they were the most read stories in comparison to international news. Those facts helped us make the move to the wider coverage of the sport in the United States.
We are very proud to say that newyorkcricket.com enjoyed close to one million page views and 174,443 visitors from 172 countries last year. Such statistics don’t happen overnight. It is the continued work of our contributors and staff over the last eight years that has helped us reach such milestones. We do it all for you our loyal visitors to the site.
Our live scoring of a few matches will take you straight to the action, with access to full scorecards for the die-hards or quick summaries for those in a hurry.
We hope you like the new look, from categorizing the cricket regions to Beyond USA.
We ask of you, our visitors to continue supporting us by visiting on a regular basis, sharing links with your families and friends, and more importantly giving us your feedback on the new look of the site, as well as how we can improve our service to you, and our coverage of all US cricket.
Finally, we ask that you support those who support us – our advertisers.
