Somerset Cavaliers batted first and composed one of the largest total in USA cricket history. They amassed 618 runs for 3 off 42 overs against Middlesex Cricket Club. Leading the charge was USA opening batsman Xavier Marshall who plundered 237 not out. Openers Kennar Lewis struck 145 and Ahmer Iqbal got 84, while Alex Amsterdam and Gajanand Singh posted 32 and 50 respectively. Middlesex Cricket Club players each had a bowl, two went for more than a 100 runs in their spells.
In response Middlesex were bundled out for a mere 113 off 27 overs. Four of their batsmen got into double figures, they were, Raja Yasir 16, Iftikhar Yaqub 15, Jamill Ahmad 19 and Majid Rasheed 26.
