Scorecard
It was a bright and sunny day in Brentwood Long Island where the Meten-Meer-Zorg boys host Long Island United Cricket Club.
The two teams were ready for a prompt 1pm start. The two umpires were Mr. Ali and Mr. Kawaja. The toss was won by MMZ who had no hesitation to bat first on a heavy outfield and a wicket that seems a decent one. The LIUCC sporting their Pakistani look alike green uniform took the field with the young Anwer Khan with the new leather.

Khan with the wind behind his back was generating some extra pace, with the score on 12 Sieuchand got a good delivery from Khan and knick it to the keeper, the dependable Deonauth Baksh joined his skipper and these two batted with no difficulty, Mohammed was timing the ball sweetly hitting some blistering drives through the heavy outfield, Baksh played some fine shots bringing up his fifty with a sweetly timed boundary. He was eventually out adjudged lbw for 53 off Khan.
